5 Months Old

Hello all,

Ben has been over here with Ray and I for the past four days because Jennifer had a surgery done on Wednesday, plus he is a big help to me around here. I am glad he was here on Wednesday (the 10th) because it was one thing after another with Juliana.

First off she only sleep a total of an hour all day yesterday, which is unlike her when we are at home.

Two, at about 10:00 in the morning Ben and I were playing with while she was sitting in her swing. She started fussing. I figured A)she had decided she wanted part of a bottle, B)she was already ready for a nap, or C)she just wanted to be held. Well, about an hour and half before then I had fed her oatmeal cereal with apple sauce mixed in. It was her first time having apple sauce. With that said she had plastered the swing with...if you do not know what I mean than nevermind. I took her into the bathroom to give her a bath (she needed one anyway). At that point the dogs needed to go outside, so I had Ben take them outside. I finished washing her off, and there was a knock at the door. Apparently Isabell had gotten away from Ben, and ended up in one of the neighbor's yards. The neighbor, I guess unaware of the fact that accidents happen, comes over knocking on the door fussing at me about the dogs while she was still in the bathtub screaming to get out. Not to mention, when I answered the door I had the stuff all over the front of my shirt.

After he left I got her ready to come back on in the living room with me. I was going to set her back in the swing as I needed to do something. I had completely forgotten the swing needed to be washed first, so she and I both had to be washed off again. I also had to change my shirt for the second time.

I had Ben take the whole swing outside to spray it off after fighting with the cover for 15 minutes to take it off to wash it. I ended up waiting until Ray got home to get it completely off.

Wednesday not only was she 5 months old, but at 5:00 took her to Wal-Mart to get Father's Day pictures done. They will not be ready until the 23rd of this month, so I will not be sending out Father's Day cards until we get the pictures. I wasgoing to post the previews of the photos, but I have not got the e-mail with the link to them yet. I was told they would be visible ect. within 24 hours. I will be calling the studio Monday.

HERE is a picture of Juliana watching T.V. gripped on to me. It was so cute, and I don't recall her ever doing that before.

HERE is a picture of the concrete foundation all dried, and the wood bracing have been removed.

HERE is a picture of the house mostly boxed in with the press work. Ray needs to wash his window LOL.

Yesterday, they papered the outside of the house and put half the trusses up. Because of the house being down an alley the crew had to carry each truss one by one up to the house. Poor guys. They must have been cursing us the whole time. HERE and HERE are one of the pictures Ray took of it all.

HERE is a picture of Jules in the jumper Jay gave to her. We were using it as a swing for her at that point.

She has started on fruits now (aside from in her oatmeal), and bananas are a success. HERE is a picture of her after eating.

HERE a picture of her standing against her Daddy's legs after eating her dinner of carrots yesterday evening.

She also pulled the toy on her playmat and made it play music for the first time on Thursday!
