Hello all,
They crew laid the wire and such for our house yesterday HERE. The next step should be to pour the concrete on Monday. They would have actually had it done this week if not for all the rain.
Because of all the rain the sea wall has been closed for about a week now. The dock is underwater, but slowly becoming visible again. They have not had to close the sea wall on the Berwick side of the bridge, but with the way the dock is built over there the only way you would know there is a dock is by looking for the pilings. Even they only stick out of the water about 2 foot.
The crew, working for Phil, was able to finish the roof on this house yesterday. They were still working when Ray and I left to go over to his Dad's house. The city still had not come to pick any of the branches-surprise, surprise. When we got back last night the crew must have piled about 70% of the tree limbs in the dumpster that they had brought in for working on the roof. Which means Ray was able to pull in the yard. I was able to get out and get into the house without having to worry about it. They must have seen how Ray had to park the car in the alleyway to get Jules and I in the car. Or the pile started getting in their way too. I don't know.
We went to Wal-Mart yesterday evening to start buying curtains ect for the our house. If we buy a lil' here and a lil' there it is less we have to worry about once we move in. I picked out a beautiful blue and gold set of curtains for mine and Ray's bedroom and a wooden curtain rod (on sale) that will not go with the blue and gold curtain blue should go perfectly with the teal curtains I want to get for the living room. The only curtains I refuse to buy at Wal-Mart are the small kitchen/bathroom ones, unless they get a new a better shipment in before I buy somewhere else lol. There are now even any I can make myself deal with at the moment.
I found a 'fathead' type Tinkerbell wall sticker, other Tinkerbell re-positionable wall stickers and matching re-positionable growth chart all on sale for Juliana room. So as it sits now her room is not going to be one theme entirely. For her bathroom/the guest bathroom I think we are going to do frogs and ladybugs. I have even found ladybug curtain rod rings on E-bay.
Who wants to see a couple pictures of Jules?
Well, HERE is a picture of her playing with a container of Jay and Jennifer's cookies. She was fascinated by the color and the loud crinkling sound it made when she grabbed or beat on it. Of all the toys we have for her, she wants a plastic cookie container! LMSO.
HERE is a picture of her sleeping on me about an hour later. It is so funny how she seems to find the most uncomfortable position to get comfort! Then after she falls asleep she is nothing but 15 lb. 6 oz. of dead weight LOL. Actually I was able to move he a lil' to get more comfortable before the picture was taken.
Also, within the last couple days Juliana has got this rocking thing going on. Whenever she is sitting up with or without our support she rocks back and forth, especially, if she gets excited over something she wants to get a hold of lol. It is so cute, but at the same time a bit scary. I am just waiting for her to fall on her face.
