Hello all,
The $40.00 Powerplay plan (split between two households) from Movie Gallery. Each movie is $4.29 Just on rented movies we would have already spent $90.09 (not including tax).
We have already rented the following: (21 movies)
Knowing- It was okay. I don't think the role really fit Nicolas Cage
Haunting in Connecticut- AWESOME nice twists on the 'old haunted houses' theme
Unborn- It was good but incredibly strange.
The Code- Pretty good movie. No one better to head a heist than Morgan Freeman
Inkheart- It was not bad. But so predictable I got kinda bored.
Return to Sleep Away Camp- Can we say "2000" and "2001 Maniacs" geesh. If you like low budget gore this one is for you which in this case Ray and Ray's Dad loved it lol.
12 Rounds-The movie was pretty good, but the concept is old. Actually the first movie that came to mind (one of favorites) "Speed".
Simon Says- Another gore fest we picked up with Ray's Dad in mind lol
Street Fighters: Legend of Chun-li- It was good/interesting. Some awesome action scenes, but altogether not one of my favorite action movies.
Powder Blue- Mostly an excuse for men to a woman's tits. Although it reminded me of "Crash". Crash was better though. I do not recommend.
Rec- the Spanish dubbed version of "Quarantine". Ray and I shut it off. I hated "Quarantine" to begin with, but since we have the Powerplay Ray thought we could give it a shot without losing too much lol.
Horsemen-Awesome. I have not seen that type of murder mystery in a while.
Push- It was alot better than I thought it would be. Watch it. You will be surprised.
Coraline- It is good. It is rather creepy for a claymation, children's type movie. I would not recommend it for any child under 10 years old. Possibly a lil' younger I do not know. It would have given me nightmares as a child.
Watchmen- I think it would have been better if I had paid more attention to it. It jump between the past and present, so often you have to have your eyes basicly glued to the T.V. to understand everything.
Big Stan- Ir sure enough is a Rob Schneider movie. There are some of his movies I only put up with when Ray watches them as he loves Rob Schneider, this one was not too bad.
Home- It kinda sucked and I am sorry to see Marcia Gay Harden's sunk her down to that level. Maybe it was just that I could relate to the movie well enough. I do not know. It is not one I recommend.
Confessions of a Shopaholic- It was cute. Reminds me of Gina LOL hehe. But not one I would want to own I don't think.
Hydra- Another Sifi "Attack of the..." type movies.
House- Another B-rated low budget horror film (but Ray's Dad liked it hehe)
Bled- It was not one of the best vampire movies I have seen, but it wasn't bad.
Fast and Furious- AWESOME - still not as good as the first, but better than the others. :D
Miss March- Stupid comedy type. Just an excuse to show off women's parts.
Skeleton Crew-Another B-rated -really low budget film, but Ray's Dad seemed to really like it. We got it for him anyway.
The Messengers 2: The Scarecrow-Pretty good! In someways better than the first, although there is not much correlation at all between the two.
Unspeakable- OMG what a low budget disturbing movie. I really do not recommend this at all. ...About these kids that get locked up in a room by their foster parents. All they want them for is the government money. But the things that go on for one reason or another are horrible.
Carnivorous- Another B-rated low-budget, but not half bad for what they had to work with. You would like it if you like all the "Snake" movies.
