Children are So Funny Sometimes

Hey all,

I have been having trouble with Juliana drinking whole milk now. Breakfast is the worst for some reason. Finally, after trying other things, I called Jay the day before yesterday to see if he and Jenn would come over for a few minutes. It seems at night when Ray, Jay, Jennifer and Ben are around she does not put up near as much fuss about drinking the milk. I thought, maybe it has something to do with them, or at least having others around.

Well, it turns out when I got on the phone with Jay and was still near her, but not really paying as much attention to her she started drinking the milk. So I asked Jay just to stay on the phone with me for a few minutes to see if she would drink the whole 6 oz. of milk I gave her to begin with. She did too. And for the last two days I have either called someone, or pretended to be talking to someone on the phone. As long as I do not walk away, or look at her AT ALL she drinks the entire sippy cup of milk. It is the damnedest thing I ever saw. Leave it to MY daughter LOL =) But I figure, whatever works, right. LOL

Also the last few days when she is sitting up in her crib or on the our bed, if one of us blows in her face she will make herself fall back onto the bed. Then she waits for one of us to tickle her, or she will start giggling before we get a chance to. It is so cute!! =)

I am also writing to say we are burying Ray's Dad tomorrow (Saturday, January 23, 2010). As you probably guessed he was cremated and Ray's Mom has had him with her at their house. Ray's Mom said we could put small things such as pictures in the vault with him if we want. I am not sure at point if there is anything else Ray wants to put in there, but I have decided to put a wallet size picture of Juliana with Santa in among any other items that may be place in with him.
