Hello all,
My very first nephew (by blood) was born February 4, 2010. Ian Gilbert Taylor joined this world at 8:07 PM and weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz (exactly one pound heavier than Juliana when she was born hehe). I want to say a special congratulations to my sister Maggie and boyfriend Deric! Welcome to parenthood! I haven't work in the parenthood field long myself, but I can say you are in for a wild ride. My wish for you is that the good days far out shine the rough days. =)
I hope everyone had awesome Valentine's Day! Ray, Juliana and I just kinda chilled out today. We did have to go to Wal-Mart for few things, but it wasn't a big deal. Ray and I got Juliana a couple stuff animals. Ray bought me some of my favorite yellow and pink roses and a 2010 Valentine's Day Bear. I have one for every year I have been here in Louisiana. I bought Ray some fishing line he wanted. I just wish Ray didn't have to go to work at 2:30 this afternoon.
Oh, Ray and I bought a new new bed for ourselves within the last few days. It is awesome! It is a memory foam mattress. I love it! We needed a new bed so badly. I am actually glad to climb in bed now. WOOHOO.
Anyway, who wants to see more pictures of Juliana? Well, here they are:
I hate to admit it, but the child really looks good in pink. Ugh lol! Although I do hate pink especially solid pink, I love the outfit HERE on Juliana. I think black and pink go so well together.
HERE is a wonderfully peaceful moment in the car LOL. I used the make-up mirror, to position the camera right to take the picture hehe.

HERE she is as I was goofing around with one of my mixing bowls. No I wasn't going to cut her hair lol. I also caught this shot HERE at just around the same. I did not know I had caught her eyes like that until a few days later LOL.
HERE is a picture of Juliana playing in the bubbles from the bubble machine Ray had gotten for her birthday party. She was having so much fun until she started sliding around on the floor covered with bubbles lol. She got so mad. Ray had to rinse her off in the bathtub while I mopped up the floor. It was so funny!
Check out this BAZZAR picture taken with our same camera HERE with no settings changed on it. It has never done that before nor since. She was asleep in her crib at that point.

HERE is picture of her looking at 'her' new fish in 'her' new 14 gallon fish tank. Ray wanted to get it for her after he saw her reaction to the fish at her Great Aunt Flo's house.

Tonight was Juliana's first time with a bowl of spaghetti. No, I did not get a picture of the result. It did not even dawn on me that I should have taken a picture until I, for the most part, had her cleaned up in the bathtub. She did have a blast though lol. She was covered in it from head to toe. She had a full beard of sauce; she had the sauce up to her elbows and from her stomach down to her knees. She even managed to get a little on her heels lol.
P.S. -For the sake of Juliana's journal I did cut her bangs for the first time a couple of weeks ago. At first I tried to cut them while she was sitting up in her high chair. Let's just say it did not work well. The only way I was able to cut her bangs was to hold her down in her crib screaming and crying. It took me about 15 minutes, I succeeded in cutting the in a straight line just above her eyebrows. What an adventure. You would have thought I was killing her LOL.
