Morgqanza Floodway Opening

According to the 1:00 Press Conference the Corps. of Engineers are confident in the levee and 'make-shift' levee systems protecting Morgan City.  At this time there is NO evacuation notice for Morgan City. We are still continuing to pack up just incase. Morgan City will not really see the effects from the Morganza Floodway until Wednesday. For those who may not know they are opening ONE bay of the Morganza Floodway today at 3:00 pm (CT). And ONE to TWO more tomorrow. As of right now, they expect to open the Morganza Floodway  at a total of 25% instead of the initial 50% thought before. There will be another Press Conference at 3:30 pm (CT) today.
